As Apple's cloud storage service, iCloud lets you back up and synchronize your email, calendar, contacts, photos, and other items. The service works with an iPhone, an iPad, a Mac, and even Windows devices. But how do you actually view and manage the content stored on iCloud? You have a few options.
No matter what device you use, the iCloud web page will allow you to view and manage all the files synced with the service as well locate a missing iPhone or iPad.
Windows users can also get to their content through the free iCloud for Windows desktop application or the iCloud Windows 10 app. You can check your mail, calendar, photos, and other items to make sure they're in sync with your device.
Log In to iCloud.com
First, let's check out how to browse to iCloud.com directly. Open your browser and surf to your iCloud page. Sign in with your Apple ID.
iCloud Apps
Your iCloud page then appears, displaying all the applications and tools supported by the service. These include Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Photos, iCloud Drive, Notes, Reminders, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Find Friends, Find iPhone, and Settings. To access these apps on the web, you'll need to make sure you're syncing this data with iCloud. On iOS, navigate to Settings > [your name] > iCloud. Under apps using iCloud, toggle to on those you'd like to sync.
Click the icon for Mail, and your browser opens to your iCloud mail where you can view and organize items, send messages, delete messages, and reply to messages.

iCloud Windows 10 App
There are two ways to access iCloud from an app in Windows 10. You can download the iCloud for Windows desktop application from Apple's website or the iCloud Windows 10 app from the Microsoft Store. The two applications look similar, but the Windows 10 app offers a few advantages.
Like Microsoft OneDrive, the iCloud Windows 10 app allows you to access your iCloud Drive files directly from File Explorer without taking up space on your PC. You can choose which files and folders you want to keep on your PC and access them from your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or from iCloud.com. iCloud files can also be directly shared from the File Explorer window.
